A magic pill and most wouldn’t take it.

What if I told you there was a magic pill that existed that could give you great looks, excellent health, incredible riches and a love life beyond compare? Would you take it? What if I told you have to take it every day, in order for the benefits to happen, but the changes will be slow, say 3 months before you start to see and feel anything. Another 3 months for it to take full effect and if you were to stop taking them for over a week, the changes would go away quickly.
Would you still take it?
The problem is that I bet MOST of you wouldn’t take it. Why? Well first of all, most of us already know that we’re supposed to take vitamins, exercise, don’t smoke, eat right and turn off the TV to have a more fulfilling life. Why is it many of us don’t? If you were to ask any sampling of people here in America as to why they don’t do it, you’d get excuses like:
“I’m too busy”, “I’m doing fine”, “I need my downtime” and the excuses pile on and on as to why it doesn’t happen.
We want greatness immediately. You say it’s 3 months before I start feeling any effects? That’s way too long, how expensive are those pills anyway? It’s a scam! In general, we are cynical about things that would come to us too easily.
However, there are those who do great things, and we marvel at them for their self-discipline. You’ve seen them before, somebody who doesn’t eat anything bad. Maybe you’ve met somebody with a model’s physique and religiously goes to the gym 7 days a week. Or how about the person who unrelentingly dedicated him or herself to achieving greatness at work, politically, in school, etc. We look at them and just say - “Wow”.
There is no magic pill, don’t bother looking. The real goal is to stop being someone saying “Wow” and to start being the person who is “wowing”.
